"Quando la Moglie è in Vacanza", the show of which I'm co-author, arranger and music producer, has just successfully debuted in theatre.
Produced by Valerio Santoro, "Quando la Moglie è in Vacanza" (original title is The Seven Year Itch), is based on the three-act-play written by George Axelroad.
Featuring Alessandro D'Alatri as a director, Renato Zero (and me) as composers, Massimo Ghini and Elena Santarelli as main actors and myself as arranger and music producer.
On the playbill my name is a bit small but it's there.
Winter is here again, cold and flue are following it, Neo Borocillina tv ad is back too. The music of this tv spot was composed by me and Flavio Ibba and it's broadcasted by all major tv.
On the first week, AMO Capitolo 2 hits the album top chart, and the single Nessuno Tocchi l'Amore, of which I'm co-author, arranger and producer, is playing on all radio stations.

Playing in Padova, Bologna, Firenze, Torino etc, is the same old story: a lot of fans screaming, singing, laughing and crying for three and half hours of show. Considering the crisis period it's quite astonishing.
From October 29th, "AMO Capitolo2" is available in all the record stores. Very excited to see how it goes …

AMO tour restarted at "Forum di Assago" for six shows in a row. It's incredible to see how many folks are coming to the show.

"AMO Capitolo 2" is baking on the oven. Mastering & graphics have been done, now it's just time to wait until the end of October to hear it.

We're ready to finish the Renato Zero's "AMO Capitolo 2", another project with new list of unreleased songs. Started more than a year ago, in the next months it'll be done . Hopefully as good as the Capitolo 1 - maybe even better - I really hope you'll like it.
Music production of this new album is split between me and Celso Valli, plus one song produced by Trevor Horn.

AMO tour started at Palalottomatica where we'll perform fifteen show. Fifteen shows on the same venue … isn't it amazing?
Fifteen successful 3 and half hour shows, more that 100.000 tickets sold, 100.000 enthusiastic and screaming folks for fifteen nights. Yeah, it has been amazing indeed.
And it is not over yet …

After a long fight with an strong-willed enemy, my mom decided to take a break and stop an unachievable war.
Even if she was a minute lady - especially in the last year - she has been incredibly tough on fighting parkinson disease for more than six years, and later an old damn enemy that suddenly reappeared. She has been trustful and able to smile until the very end when she couldn't wrestle anymore against all those bastards. But I know she's with me so … I love you mom.

Starting pre-prod and rehearsal of the Renato Zero's AMO-Tour. It's going to be a quite tough job but I'm sure we'll be good enough to make it properly. Rehearsal will start at Formello's FilmHouse studio near Rome, and it'll goes on until mid April 2013.

The cat is out of the bag. On March 12th the new Renato Zero CD (Amo - Capitolo 1) will hit the market.
This time, like never before, it has been a tough and breathtaking experience, not because I was in charge of doing my job at its best, but due to the fact I had to bear the confrontation in the same album, with a couple of giants of music productions in the biz: Celso Valli and Trevor Horn. On top of that on this project 10 songs out of 14 have been composed by me and Renato; that has been another big chunk of pressure. At the end of the story I think we did a good job.

"For this album Zero hired three great producers: Trevor Horn, Danilo Madonia e Celso Valli"

Once again we mastered the project at the Logicalbox studio. On this long awaited Renato Zero project I've produced 5 songs, Trevor Horn produced 4 and Celso Valli another 5. We had to carefully balance the three different productions but I think we made it.
